A bump is additional compensation paid on top of your base rate.
Bumps are predetermined by production and are typically offered when a role requires something beyond standard background work.
Examples may include:
- Using your personal vehicle on camera
- Providing specialty wardrobe
- Performing a special skill
- Working under unique filming conditions
If a role includes a bump, it will typically be listed in your booking information before you accept the job.
